Loverbook is a non-linear »diary« coming to a preliminary form in an exhibition space.
I've met my former partners, lovers and my relationship-partner back then simultaneously. I existed in different times and contexts with each and every person. The approach was to re-visit, potentially re-experience or experience a (former) love/affair from a new perspektive, including the aim of producing images, which document this intimite and performative act as well as they document, remember or imagine the relationship.
Through intuitive work on the photographic motives in the darkroom, the pictures do not just show privacy but also challenge notions of photography as truth and authenticity as they are created through joint memories, projections, and fi nally their coming into-being as material objects through editing and choice.
